Daily Minyanim
Shacharit is held daily at the following times:
- Monday & Thursday: 6:25 am/7:30 am/8:15 am (Joel H. Shiff Beit Midrash)
- Tues, Wed & Fri: 6:30 am/7:30 am/8:15 am (Joel H. Shiff Beit Midrash)
- Sunday: 7:30 am/8:30 am/9:15 am (Joel H. Shiff Beit Midrash)
The Sephardic Minyan holds Shacharit Sunday through Friday at 8:30am in the Beit Midrash.
Mincha is held daily in in the Joel H. Shiff Beit Midrash.
Shabbat Services
With a multitude of minyanim on Erev Shabbat and Shabbat morning and a variety of Shabbat learning opportunities, CBS offers something for everyone.
Erev Shabbat
Erev Shabbat services are held in the Abraham Scharf Main Sanctuary and the Sephardic Minyan. In the Spring and Summer there is also a third minyan after candle-lighting.
- Abraham Scharf Main Sanctuary: 9:00am The foundation of davening at CBS, with a rotating schedule of inspirational chazanim and frequent guest speakers.
- Joel H. Shiff Beit Midrash Minyan: 9:15 am Our dynamic downstairs minyan, taking place in the more intimate setting of our downstairs Joel H. Shiff Beit Midrash.
- Sephardic Minyan: 9:00 am: The foundation of our thriving Sephardic community.
- Cantor Samuel Ganz Hashkama Minyan: 7:40 am
- Teen Minyan: 9:45 am
Shabbat Kiddush
CBS offers a hot kiddush in the ballroom every Shabbos morning. Hot kiddush is also offered weekly in the Hashkama Minyan.
